Well it is November and in room 425 at Lindley Middle School we are so excited to be working on Edible Castles. Students are in groups of eight and competing to build the best castle out of edible items. Students will explore the creation of blueprints and experience a true construction team as they create, measure, and plan an edible building. Students have assigned each group memeber a responsibilty/position in the construction crew. From foreman, to materials, to clean up, to structural engineer each member has a specific job to do. Students must identify and use pattern and construct to scale according to their blueprints. Take a look as we put our foundations together....
